Lister CS Replacement 7 Stud Cylinder with Chrome 4.5" Bore
A good quality reproduction Lister CS cylinder barrel with a chrome lined 4.5" bore, suitable for original British built *5/1, 6/1, 8/1, *10/2, 12/2 & 16/2 engines. These cylinders are supplied fully machined and ready to fit to your engine.
*Note Regarding Early 5/1 & 10/2 Engines: The 574-11000 is not suitable for early 5/1 & 10/2 engines form engine No 125 to 13079. The cylinders (5-1/B2S) on these early engines did not have a protrusion on the bottom of the cylinder blocks, the crankcase on early these engines has a slightly smaller hole where this protrusion fits in to. Please contact me if you have any doubts before purchasing this replacement cylinder for any on these early engines.
The 574-11000 cylinder block is a suitable replacement for Lister part numbers 8-2-32S, 8-2-34S, 8-2-48 574-11001, 574-10790 & 574-10060, it will also replace the 547-1103 cylinder block that have Welsh plugs instead of water jacket doors.
These cylinders are the seven stud type for original British built engines as shown in the photos.
The replacement cylinders blocks are a convenient and faster way to replace your worn cylinder, and in most cases more cost effective than getting your current barrel machined and resleeved.
Comes complete with water jacket doors supplied and fitted.
Important Note Regarding Locating Rings: These cylinders are do not have the machined recesses in 2 corners for the cylinder head locating rings, you will need to simply remove the rings from the head (If fitted) and fit the cylinder head as normal. The seven studs are more than enough to keep the cylinder/barrel and head alignment in the correct place.
