Lister J Piston Ring Set to Suit 4.25” Bore (3 Ring Set)
New high quality piston ring set to suit the Lister J petrol engines and Lister K kerosene engines with a 4.25” bore. This is a 3 compression ring set, please check your piston before ordering, some engines require a 4 ring set. All 3 rings in this set have a 1/4” Axial Width.
Compression Ring Dimensions:
- Bore Size 4.25” (107.95mm)
- Axial Width 1/4” (6.35mm)
- Radial Depth 0.165” (4.191mm)
Note: All rings will need to be gaped to suit your bore. As a general rule of thumb piston rings on vintage engines should have 0.003” of end gap per 1” of cylinder bore size (i.e. 4.25” bore would need 0.01275” end gap). Be sure to gap your rings on the smallest or unworn part of your bore, on worn or older engines that have not had a new liner fitted this would normally be towards the bottom.
