Pump Rebuild Kit for Lister J, K, L, M Fuel & Oil Pumps
Rebuild kit for the fuel & oil pumps found on the J, K, L, M range of petrol and paraffin engines. - 2 x Pump Plungers 3-1/4" Long P/N 3317
- 2 x Packing Gland Nuts P/N J117 or 3337
- 2 x Pump Spring P/N J118A, 3324 & D156
- 4 x Pump Valve Ball (Brass) P/N J119 or 3327
- 1 x Meter of Non-Asbestos Packing Cord P/N 3335
Important Note: Please check your pump for suitability before purchasing, some early pumps did not have the packing gland nuts.
Please refer to the below details for what the new plungers and pump rebuild kits found in our store for the J to R Fuel & Oil Pumps will fit.
1) The new plungers and rebuild kits are not suitable for the Type 1 single fuel only pumps. These very early pumps are not very common, they were only found of the first 400 to 500 or so engines, and not many have survived.
2) Both the new plungers and rebuild kits will fit the Type 2 pumps with plain ended hollow plungers, however, if you are just planning on replacing the plungers you will also need to upgrade the long spring to the new shorter J118A spring found in our store, this basically turns them in to a Type 4 pump.
3) The rebuild kits and plungers are not suitable for Type 3 pumps without modification, the bottom end of the plungers will need to be machined down to duplicate what the Type 3 drawing shows. The replacement J118A spring is suitable for this pump.
4) Both the new plungers, springs and rebuild kits will fit the type 4 pumps.
5) Both the new plungers, springs and rebuild kits will fit the type 5 pumps.
