Lister A & AK Junior Valve Spring Set (Pair) 2-419
A high quality pair of precision made valve springs for the Lister Junior A & AK type engines, more commonly suitable for 3hp or 3½hp engines. Made from 55CrSi oil tempered and quenched spring steel wire, with a further tempering and shot peening treatment. The ends have been precision ground, and a light coating of anti-rust oil applied for corrosion prevention. Equivalent to Lister part number 2-419 or 002-00419. *Not suitable for all spec’s, see notes.
*Notes: The 2-419 valve spring is suitable for later Lister A & AK engine made after engine number 210398 (Approximate) or Spec 22 (A62), these engines will mostly be 3hp or 3½hp. Please check the size of your current springs and spring carriers for suitability, dimensions of new springs are below or refer to drawing.
Earlier 2½hp engines used a smaller diameter spring and spring carrier, however some earlier 2½hp rated engines may also use these later springs if they received a cylinder head and piston upgrade at some stage in there life.
