How do you adjust the axial play when fitting the main bearings on a R&T N type engine?
May 19, 2023, 03:32 PMHi Warwick, this is done with thin paper gaskets used as shims, a gasket set will have a few for each side in it normally, you just use as many as you need to get the clearance right.
